sweet faces, happy faces

Why hello hello everyone! Lots of exciting happenings going on over yonder and throughout the world, I hope, I hope.

For starters, the Tall & Small Chicago Dance Extravaganza is coming up very very soon!  Not only are Mindy and I dancing in our first self-produced show, we will also be teaching up a storm, performing at her arts high school AND visiting with old pals in the Chicago-land area.  It just doesn’t get much better than that! I think not.

Last weekend, I performed a new work in 2012 Asheville Fringe Festival, Bathed In Perception: Impact,  a piece in which I collaborated with my brother, JD.  The work, a tribute to our Grandmothers, was very well received by the Black Mountain College Museum crowd, earning this years “Most Inspiring Work” award of the  festival.  Very honored, as you can see by my expression:

Lastly, I have just recently added another performance for Mindy and I!  We will be bringing our production, “The Ratio of Mindsey to Kelpin” to Asheville, NC for one night only!  Holy Moly am I excited to present this show to the Asheville Community.  Please, please mark your calenders, for I promise this is a performance of modern dance that you will NOT want to miss: Sunday, February 26th, 7-8pm at the BeBe Theater in Downtown Asheville, $12/$10 students.  Tickets available at door and advanced ticket sale info coming soon!

Oh and one more thing…in case you didn’t check out this music video yet, you probably should.  Major congrats to Mr. 1NE 5IVE & Chachillie, plus the entire TwinGravity Team for creating this!  Super talented folks, who I’m stoked to have worked with:
